I’ve been trying to find a part time job lately.  I don’t want to deliver pizzas (too much stress on the car) but other than that, I’m cool with flipping burgers, renting out videos, cooking pizzas, etc.

The biggest issue I’m running up against is my availability.  Due to the custody arrangement (and how I want it) I have my kids half the time, but it’s half time out of any given 2 weeks.  So I’ll have them 2 days one week, 5 days the next.  Basically it works out to I have them 2 days a week, she has them 2 days a week, and we alternate Fri-Sun every other week.

So for scheduling, this gives me two days during the week and every other weekend to work, and it doesn’t seem like people want that.

I haven’t exactly hit a ton of places yet either, and I know persistence pays off, but as of right now, it’s not looking up.

On the bright side, I saw this post over at Paid Twice with regard to taking surveys for spare change, and I went ahead and signed up for a few of the companies.  Let’s see if that brings in some “snowflakes” for me to help with the debt reduction.
